Soil Analysis

An important key to growing success is having great soil. We can help you understand the quality of your soil and recommend additives or appropriate plants. To have your soil analyzed, please bring 2 cups of dry soil in a container with your name and phone number included. The procedure usually takes 3 days and costs $18.99.

There are two tests that we do:

1. Determine the ph of your soil
2. Determine the nutrient level in your sample

Yard and Garden Design

One of our designers will meet with you by appointment at your home or business. Landscape Consultation is $150/hour (most yards take approximately one hour). Mileage is additional if outside of Whitehorse.

If after a consultation you want our full landscaping services, we will credit the consultations charge towards the cost of the landscape project. Our designer will meet with you either at your home or business. Please phone the Gardens office at 867 668 7972 to book appointments.

Landscaping

Yukon Gardens has provided landscaping services to the Yukon since the early 1980s and we've achieved a reputation for excellence. Our landscape service will show your property, and your home, in its best possible fashion.

We build many landscape features and provide services such as:

Deck Pots and Hanging Basket Planting

When you want to make the most of your time and summer, let us personally design your containers. Bring in your pots and baskets and an idea of what you would like. We will help you choose the right combinations, take care of the planting and keep them in our production greenhouse. When you pick them up, they will be showy and full of colour. Prices depend on the size of the container and the plants used.
